This little project takes less than an hour. And it's so fun and addicting, you may want to make several at a time! Materials: white synthetic felt, sewing machine, 2 shades of blue thread, background fabric, crinoline, craft type heat gun, embroidery hoop, glue stick, respirator mask with organic vapor filters, card stock or frame. The mask is absolutely critical, fumes are very toxic.

Melted Felt Starfish 1. Draw your design on to the felt. 2. Emphasize interior lines 3. Fill the outline with stitching 4. Shadow with a dark color 5. The shadows show 6. Put the piece into a hoop 7.
