Check out my newest class- where you get to design and ‘grow' your own beautiful Flower Garden. The students in the first sessions of this class loved it and made beautiful gardens. You will too!
    You will learn how to create luscious flowers in colors of your choice, and ‘plant’ them in a garden in front of my preprinted window. More flowers will be taught than you see in my piece, above, right so you will have lots of choices of flowers to make.

    My original window background has been reprinted for you on fabric at a  12x18” size.
    Our work will be done in raw edge appliqué and thread sketching. It is important that you are familiar with sewing in free motion. It is not important that you are good at anything but setting up your machine to do it!

 

    It's first come, first served and I am limiting class size to 12 people so you will get some individual attention in each class.
    There are 4 live Zoom meetings each 2 hours long. We’ll begin with an explanation of how I made the window and how to create the flowering window vine. Sessions will provide demos on how to make different flowers and greens and give you time to practice them and get your questions answered. You'll also learn about designing with perspective, color choices, lengthening the image, or not, and adding the fence, or not. The last sessions will focus on more designing and 'growing' the garden as well as finishing the piece facing or framing it.

    Can't make a class or need to miss some of it? All classes will be recorded and posted within about 48 hours of class. They will be on my YouTube channel with access restricted to students in this class, and will remain there for thirty days.
